My accordion has built-in stereo microphones as well as a full MIDI system. The installed MIDI allows me to sound like a four-piece band. My accordion is connected to a rhythm orchestrator (Orla XM600) and three sound modules (Ketron SD4, Korg NR1, and Kurzweil Micro Piano). When I play the buttons (chords on my left hand) it triggers a bass pattern, background strings and horns, and percussion sounds (drums). I then am able to use my right hand to play on the piano keys. When playing with my right hand I can sound like many instruments including: organs, pianos, electric pianos, saxophones, flutes, vibes, clarinets, trumpets, strings, marimbas, guitars, mandolin, harmonica, trombone, violin, cello, bass, accordions, and many more. Each sound module is connected to a separate foot pedal. This allows me to be able to play two main lead instruments simultaneously such as vibes and organ or accordion and strings.
During the past few years, I have entertained for many different occasions and clubs including the Italian American Club of Livonia and the Annual Gala Celebration for the Information Center of Taylor at the Grecian Center. I have over forty years of experience playing for parties, anniversaries, weddings, and all other types of special occasions. I am a retired public school teacher from the Riverview School District (Downriver Suburb of Detroit, MI).

The price for the "Big Band Sound" is higher due to a substantial increase of time it takes me to set up and dismantle my equipment. This includes: speakers, amplifier, rhythm unit, sound modules, cables, music stand, and a microphone. It takes me more than an hour to unpack my car and set up all of my equipment. It also takes me an hour to dismantle my equipment and to pack it back into my car.
