The different ryhthms and orchestral sounds are created by using a built in MIDI which is connected to an Orla XM600 Orchestra/Rhythm Unit. The Orla not only contains a vast variety of different rythms but hundreds of great instrumental sounds. I have my Orla connected to three other Digital Sound Modules. The great piano sounds are produced by using a Kurzweil Micro Piano Module and the thousands of other sounds are produced by using a Korg N1R Sound Module. I use the Korg Module usually for its great organ sounds. I just purchased a new sound Module called Ketron SD4. The Ketron is the top of the line for digital sounds. I started using the Ketron on CD 47 (only four songs). Album 48 contains sounds from the Ketron on all 15 songs. Some of the different instruments you can hear in my CDs are: accordion (five different types including musette), saxophones, clarinet, guitars, vibes, marimbas, mandolin, all percussion, bass, organs (dozens of varieties), harmonica, flutes, strings, chorus, plus many more. Each sound module is connected to a separate foot pedal. This allows me to play up to three lead instruments simultaneously.
